1. Scope
This policy applies to Orvyx VPN's mobile application, website and related services. It does not apply to third-party websites or services that may be linked from our app or website.
2. Information we may handle
We aim to collect only information reasonably necessary to operate the service. Depending on how you use Orvyx VPN, this may include:
- an internal account or user identifier used to provide access to the service;
- subscription and entitlement information needed to verify access to paid features;
- VPN connection information necessary to establish and maintain a connection;
- basic technical information needed for security, reliability and troubleshooting; and
- information you choose to send to us when contacting support.
3. VPN traffic and browsing activity
We do not intentionally collect the contents of your internet traffic or build profiles of your browsing activity. We do not sell your browsing activity or use it for targeted advertising.
Like any VPN service, technical systems involved in routing a connection may process network information, including IP addresses, as technically necessary to establish and operate the VPN connection. Such processing does not mean that Orvyx uses that information to track your browsing activity.
4. How we use information
Information may be used to:
- provide, authenticate and maintain the Orvyx VPN service;
- verify subscriptions and determine feature entitlement;
- secure the service, investigate abuse and prevent fraud;
- diagnose technical problems and improve reliability; and
- respond to support or legal requests.
5. Service providers
Orvyx may use third-party infrastructure and technology providers to operate features such as VPN connectivity, hosting, authentication and subscription processing. Those providers may process information on our behalf as required to provide their services and are subject to their own contractual and legal obligations.
Purchases made through Apple's App Store are also processed by Apple under Apple's own terms and privacy practices.
6. Data retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to maintain the service, satisfy legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. Retention periods can vary depending on the type of information and the reason it is processed.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, alteration or disclosure. No internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's privacy
Orvyx VPN is not directed to children under the minimum age required to consent to online services in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children where parental consent is legally required.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion or restriction of personal information. You may contact us to submit a privacy request. We may need to verify the request before acting on it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Orvyx VPN develops or as legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when a revised policy is published.
